Dove Mountain is more than 6,200 acres of foothills, canyon and mountainside living in the Tortolita Mountains, just north of Tucson, Arizona.

The President of Cottonwood Properties, David Mehl, first owned the land that is now Dove Mountain in 1985. Three decades of planning and commitment have gone into making Dove Mountain one of the Southwest’s premiere golf resort communities. Its high Sonoran Desert setting is home to three golf clubs including The Golf Club at Dove Mountain, former host of the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship. In addition to the overall community, Cottonwood Properties developed and owns The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain which became a Forbes Five Star rated resort in 2015.  Cottonwood Properties continues to actively develop the remaining land in Dove Mountain.

Masterfully planned with an emphasis on low-density, Dove Mountain inspires a true sense of community with the utmost respect for the natural habitat and its habitants. Elevations soar from 2,700 to 4,300 feet. Long, spectacular views seem to go on forever in every direction. Almost a third of Dove Mountain’s nearly 9 square miles is dedicated to open space. Importantly, the integrity of Dove Mountain’s perimeter is forever enhanced, with over 10 miles of boundary against either formal preserves or Arizona State Trust owned mountains.
